The Daylight Women in Leadership Bursary is an annual initiative created to recognize women-identified students who demonstrate outstanding leadership and to their communities. In its inaugural year, two $250 bursaries were awarded to Roxane Guy and Britany Roy in recognition of their exceptional leadership and community involvement. Established as a long-term initiative, the bursary will continue to be awarded annually to encourage and celebrate the next generation of women leaders.
She Inspires Fest is an event dedicated to empowering and celebrating women through educational kiosks, interactive activities, and community engagement. Organized in partnership with three student clubs at the CEGEP, the event brought together more than 80 participants and over 20 volunteers to inspire positive change.
Last fall, Forces AVENIR recognized Daylight as one of the three finalists in the "Entraide, paix et justice" category for its commitment to supporting and empowering women through meaningful community initiatives. As a finalist, Daylight was awarded a $1,000 bursary in recognition of its projects, community involvement, and positive social impact. During the gala, Daylight's spokesperson, Anastasia Gaulin, was interviewed on stage by host Stéphan Bureau to present the organization's mission and achievements.

We empower women to become leaders in their communities and advocates for social change. Through leadership opportunities, educational initiatives, and community engagement, we equip women with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to amplify their voices, inspire others, and create lasting impact.
We empower women through creativity by providing opportunities for self-expression, innovation, and artistic exploration. Through art, collaboration, and creative initiatives, we help women build confidence, discover their strengths, and use their talents to create impact in their communities.
We empower women by advancing gender equality and reducing stigmas that limit opportunities and perpetuate discrimination. Through education, advocacy, and community engagement, we promote inclusion, challenge harmful stereotypes, and work toward a more equitable society for all.
